Today was my first day in starting my new job after months of looking for a new job. Towards the end of my old job I felt management was not that supportive and I dreaded each morning going to work. Supervising someone who didn't listen to your instructions and had a bad attitude, well you could say I had enough. I didn't want to feel that way anymore.
Just comparing the two companies and roles, they are completely different. The culture of the company is far more relaxed, everyone is really friendly and it is less structured. The first day is, so far so good =) Just keeping an open mind and trying not to make too much comparisons as it is still early days.
Really happy where my office is as it overlooks the Darling Harbour, I have a really cool workstation (I get to use a mac at work =), get free coffee and toast in the morning and there is a free bar on Thursday and Fridays. What more could you ask?
Looking forward to what lies ahead for this new role, new company and colleagues =)

woah.. sounds neat, this new job of yours. it must be some really huge ad agency.. i know those in sg have v good working environment and free snack bars too. any vacancy for a copywriter there? heh~
I wish there is a vacancy for a copy writer as you will be the first to know ;) Wouldn't it be cool if we worked at the same company =D
